Description
This flatbed container trailer is the heavy-haul version: an 80 t rated chassis aimed at long-distance routes where road quality and load cycles are hard on the frame. The main beam is built from T700 or Q345B high-tensile steel with reinforced beams and high-strength twist locks, so it moves between container work and loose bulk cargo without changing trailers.
Running gear is deliberately brand-name because that is where downtime usually starts: genuine BPW or FUWA axles in 13 t, 14 t, 16 t or 20 t ratings, a JOST king pin, JOST landing gear and WABCO brake valves. Two, three or four axle configurations are available, and ABS can be specified.
For harsh environments and long sea transit the chassis is shot blasted, treated with an epoxy primer and finished with two marine-grade top coats.
If you tell us your route, typical load and the road conditions you work in, we will recommend a reinforced configuration – axle brand, tyre size, king pin type and side wall height – rather than a standard build.
