Description
A skeleton trailer exists to carry containers with as little dead weight as possible, so the frame is everything. On this chassis the main beam is a heavy-duty I-beam in Q345 high-tensile steel, welded with automatic submerged arc processes, with an 18 mm x 140 mm top flange, a 14 mm middle flange and a 20 mm x 140 mm bottom flange at a 500 mm section height.
The deck is 8 mm checkered plate, and the trailer accepts 20ft, 40ft and 45ft containers. Axle sets can be Fuhua, Fengbao, FUWA or BPW, in three or four axle configurations, on mechanical leaf spring suspension with air suspension available on request.
Braking uses a WABCO RE6 relay valve with T30/30 spring brake chambers and 40 L air tanks, and ABS is optional. Landing gear is a two-speed heavy-duty 28 t unit, and the unit ships with a tool box, spare tyre carrier, crank and shaft head wrench.
If you run a container fleet, tell us the box sizes and the typical gross weight and we will confirm the beam section and axle rating for your lanes.
