Description

This car carrier semi-trailer is a double-deck vehicle transporter for moving passenger cars by road. The upper loading platform lifts hydraulically so vehicles can be driven on at both levels, and the trailer carries seven to ten cars depending on their size.

It has been used to load Volkswagen, Audi, Honda, Hyundai, Toyota and Buick vehicles, among others. The frame is welded with automatic submerged arc and carbon dioxide gas shielded welding, then shot blasted to relieve welding stress and improve paint adhesion.

The body can be built as a skeleton, semi-closed or fully closed unit, and the semi-closed version adds tarpaulin on both sides to protect the cars and allow other cargo on the return leg. Length, axle count and body type are all made to order: two, three or four axles with FUWA or BPW axle sets, mechanical or air suspension, and an 11.00R22.5 or 12R22.5 tyre choice.
